[Important] Changes to taxes on parcels sent to EU member countries and France

From July 1, 2026, the EU’s “duty-free for amounts under 150 euros” measure for imported parcels has been abolished. As a result, European customers are more likely than before to incur taxes and fees when receiving their parcels.

1. Overview

Until now, parcels with a total declared value of under 150 euros for the contents were exempt from duty. From July 1, 2026 onward, the following will be subject to taxation regardless of value.

- Value-added tax (VAT) and other taxes applied depending on the contents
- 3 euros in duty per HS code (international commodity classification number) for the contents
- Customs handling fee (Small Parcel Tax)

For parcels addressed to France and French overseas territories, an additional customs handling fee of 2 euros is clearly stated, on top of the above.

3. About payment methods

Taxes and fees are not included in our sales price. After the parcel arrives in your country, they will be billed directly to you by the local post office or delivery carrier.

Payment instructions vary by country, such as by mailed notice, SMS, email, or an online page from the local post office. If payment remains unconfirmed, your parcel may be returned, so please keep an eye on the tracking information and complete the procedure promptly when you receive notice.

Please check the tracking number listed in the shipping completion email on your country’s postal service website.
